LYKN is a group formed from Project Alpha, a GMMTV survival show that aired from 4 December 2022 to 5 March 2023 and consists of five members (William, Lego, Nut, Hong, and Tui). LYKN officially debuted under RISER MUSIC on 5 May 2023 under the single "May I."
"LYKN" itself is a homophone of LYCAN, which means humans with the ability to transform into their stronger selves at any time, like werewolves. They named their fan club "LYKYOU," a homophone of the phrase "Like You."
